Midwest Aquatic has searched the globe for the ultimate sulfur media to use in a sulfur denitrator. We found it, in Europe, and we brought it back home. 

This media is made from highly pure elemental sulfur. It is not "split-pea" or flake like some other brands. This is the real deal. These round balls of sulfur are manufactured specifically for sulfur denitrators. Round balls provide more space between pellets, so less clogging. PLUS, we pre-populate our sulfur pearls with NBC #9, so it starts reducing nitrate fast. 

As an example, the Sulfur DeNITRIFIER  XL has a reaction chamber 5" by 18", and requires 5 LB of sulfur.
